City Council Adopts New City Logo

Post Date:06/17/2020 10:52 AM

Through a virtual, unanimous vote, the Kingman City Council adopted a new logo for the city last night. The new logo will be rolled out in phases across the city, and the community should start seeing it in places almost immediately. The process of designing the new logo for adoption took months of work by team members in multiple departments working alongside GEO, an Arizona-based marketing firm. Many stake-holder meetings took place, as well as input from local community groups.

Kingman Mayor Jen Miles said, “This logo looks like the Kingman I think of when driving into the city - the mountains, the Mother Road, the sun and the southwestern colors. I hope everyone feels an affinity with the logo as a place called home as well as the invitation to explore and enjoy our beautiful city.”

The city is looking forward to sharing the new logo with local businesses and community members for their use on materials. In research that took place, while designing the logo, stakeholders felt the city needed a logo that represented what most folks recognize, as Route 66 being an integral part of our community.Kingman LOGO_WEB RGB-min
